The DFT-420 features a high-performance, high-power, highly directional design with a lightweight, versatile, and exceptionally compact cabinet. It is equipped with two 10-inch (65mm voice coil) premium-quality neodymium bass drivers and a 3-inch (75mm voice coil) compression driver for the high frequencies. The compact cabinet design incorporates a perfectly engineered multi-purpose rigging system, making installation effortless and enhancing portability and ease of use during mobile applications.
The DFT-420's proprietary horn features smooth high-frequency response and precise directivity. Its horizontal 110° and vertical 15° coverage angles allow for seamless multi-unit cascading without any interference between individual speakers. Additionally, the hanging angle between each speaker is adjustable, with a minimum adjustment of just 1°. A combination of four HFT-420 speakers on one side, paired with two HFT-18B speakers, perfectly meets the needs of most medium to small-sized venues—delivering and penetrating mid-to-high frequencies, along with rich, powerful low-end performance.
Leveraging the manufacturer’s DFT-420 DSP preset ensures perfect phase and frequency response, while also providing effective speaker protection. The DFT-420 is one of REALSOUND’s flagship mid-size line-array speakers, renowned for its outstanding performance and scientifically designed, user-friendly rigging system that has earned high praise from users.
