The MD-12 is a highly cost-effective, versatile passive speaker system—newly designed by Real Sound factory in 2019 with innovative aesthetics, craftsmanship, and technology. This allows the series to seamlessly cater to a wide range of events, making it the ideal choice especially for users who may not yet be ready to invest heavily. Engineers have particularly focused on significant improvements in the high-frequency performance, while also enhancing the driver’s power-handling capacity. Additionally, a dedicated tweeter and woofer protection device has been integrated into the crossover network. This feature not only safeguards the drivers from damage during overload conditions but also ensures the speakers can continue operating smoothly even under such circumstances.
The MD-12 is a compact, versatile, and tightly designed speaker system featuring a 12-inch reflex bass driver paired with a 1.7-inch horn-loaded tweeter—making it a sleek in-ear monitor speaker that can also be used in main PA systems. The horn employed delivers crisp high-midrange sound and is fully rotatable, ideal for vocal reproduction. It comes equipped with both a support-stand socket and rigging points for flexible setup options.
