The L-1 is a high-performance, high-power, highly directional, lightweight, multi-purpose, and exceptionally compact cabinet design, featuring six 5-inch (38-mm voice coil) high-quality neodymium bass drivers and three 2-inch (44-mm voice coil) compression tweeters. It represents Real Sound’s latest innovation in lightweight line-array technology, seamlessly integrating the proven advantages of Real Sound’s traditional line-source design with a plug-and-play approach, a sleek aesthetic, and exceptional soundstage presence, outstanding clarity, and superb tonal balance.
What sets the L-1 apart is its proprietary high-frequency waveguide horn, which delivers exceptionally smooth frequency response. As the result of meticulous research conducted in the RealSound anechoic chamber, this patented L-1 horn design exhibits highly controlled directivity: across the 750 Hz to 18 kHz operating frequency range, the three tweeters maintain consistent phase and amplitude both horizontally and vertically.
The L-1 employs factory-preconfigured software and features a built-in DSP that uses an electronic crossover to correct the filter, thereby optimizing phase and frequency response. It also includes driver protection settings. The phase-correction processing ensures a flat acoustic amplitude and phase response, resulting in exceptional impulse response and precise sound imaging.
The L-1’s exceptional coverage and ultra-wide polar pattern deliver consistent, high sound pressure levels across a broad surface, making it ideally suited for flat auditoriums.
The L-SUBP is a high-performance, high-power, multi-purpose, and exceptionally compact enclosure, equipped with two 12-inch (65 mm voice coil) high-quality subwoofers. Its sleek, plug-and-play design delivers powerful presence, outstanding clarity, and superb tonal balance.
The L-SUBP subwoofer employs high-efficiency neodymium-iron-boron driver units, coupled with an optimally tuned bass-reflex port design and advanced internal techniques for eliminating standing waves and unwanted resonances. The bass-reflex port has been meticulously optimized to minimize port noise and compression, resulting in impressive low-frequency extension and output capability.
The L-SUBP active subwoofer and the L-1 full-range speaker can be paired in a 1+1 configuration. The L-SUBP system features a built-in 96 kHz DSP and a 2,200-watt Class D power amplifier: one channel drives the L-1 full-range speaker, while the other channels the L-SUBP subwoofer. This ultra-high-power Class D design delivers effortless performance, with natural, transparent sound—crisp, clear, and bright highs, rich, full mids, and solid, powerful, highly elastic bass.
Built-in four operating modes: (1) LIVE, (2) MUSIC, (3) SPEECH, and (4) LIVE+.
