The L-1 is a high-performance, high-power, highly directional, lightweight, multi-purpose, and exceptionally compact cabinet design, featuring six 5-inch (38-mm voice coil) high-quality neodymium bass drivers and three 2-inch (44-mm voice coil) compression tweeters. It represents Real Sound’s latest innovation in portable line-array technology, seamlessly integrating the proven advantages of Real Sound’s traditional line-source design with a plug-and-play approach, a sleek aesthetic, and exceptional soundstage presence, outstanding clarity, and superb tonal balance.
What sets the L-1 apart is its proprietary high-frequency waveguide horn, which delivers exceptionally smooth frequency response. As the result of meticulous research conducted in the RealSound anechoic chamber, the L-1 horn design exhibits highly controlled directivity: across the 750 Hz to 18 kHz operating frequency range, the three tweeters maintain consistent phase and amplitude both horizontally and vertically.
The L-1 employs a factory-preprogrammed algorithm, with a built-in DSP that uses an electronic crossover to correct the filter’s phase and frequency response, along with driver protection settings. Phase-correction processing ensures a flat acoustic amplitude and phase response, resulting in exceptional impulse response and precise sound imaging.
The L-1’s exceptional coverage and ultra-wide polar pattern deliver consistent, high sound pressure levels across a broad surface, making it ideally suited for flat auditoriums.
The L-215BP is a high-performance, high-power, multi-purpose speaker with an exceptionally compact cabinet design, equipped with two 15-inch (88 mm voice coil) high-quality subwoofers. Its stylish, plug-and-play configuration delivers powerful presence, outstanding clarity, and excellent tonal balance.
The L-215BP’s low-frequency performance is delivered by a high-efficiency neodymium–iron–boron driver unit, paired with an optimally tuned bass-reflex port and advanced internal design features that suppress standing waves and unwanted resonances. The port has been meticulously optimized to minimize port noise and compression, resulting in impressive low-frequency extension and output capability.
The L-215BP active subwoofer and the L-1PLUS full-range speaker can be paired in a 1+1 configuration. The L-215BP system features a built-in 96 kHz DSP and a 2,200-watt amplifier: one channel drives the L-1PLUS’s high and low frequencies, while the other channels the L-215BP’s ultra-low frequencies. Thanks to its massive Class-D power output, this setup delivers effortless performance, with natural, transparent sound—crisp, bright highs, rich, full mids, and solid, dynamic, highly elastic bass.
