The HFT-520P features a high-performance, high-power, highly directional design with a compact cabinet that’s versatile and easy to use. It’s equipped with dual 10-inch (63mm long-stroke voice coils) premium-quality neodymium bass drivers, four 4-inch midrange drivers (with 35mm voice coils) featuring phase plugs, and a 3-inch compression tweeter boasting a 75mm voice coil. The cabinet boasts a sleek, space-saving design and incorporates a perfectly engineered multi-purpose rigging system, making installation effortless and enhancing portability for seamless mobility.
The HFT-520P amplifier is configured to deliver 2 x 1000 watts, driving the bass separately while simultaneously powering the built-in crossover for mid-high frequencies. Not only does it produce exceptional sound quality, but it’s also incredibly easy to use, featuring two built-in modes that can be easily selected.
The HFT-520P features a proprietary waveguide and horn design, offering a constant vertical directivity of 10°, while its horizontal directivity is adjustable at 110°, 90°, and 70°. In practical use, the horizontal directivity can even be set asymmetrically. Notably, when configured at 70°, the high-frequency sound pressure level automatically increases by 2 dB, resulting in a range that exceeds the 110° setting by more than half. At the core of the HFT-520P's waveguide-and-horn design lies the ability to maintain linear phase for high-frequency sound waves, delivering a natural, clear, and captivating midrange experience. This is further enhanced by the use of baffles, which reduce the acoustic center distance between the four midrange drivers, thereby raising the upper limit of the working frequency range and preventing interference or clipping in the midrange. Additionally, the HFT-520P employs a bass-reflex design that effectively extends the low-frequency response. Its custom-designed woofer unit is perfectly matched with the dedicated bass enclosure and curved reflex port, while a specialized bass baffle boosts the radiation impedance of the low frequencies, ensuring an overall low-end performance that is both transparent and powerfully dynamic.
Calling upon the manufacturer's pre-engineered HFT-520P DSP preset to achieve phase and frequency response, complete with driver protection settings. The use of FIR technology ensures linear phase in the mid-to-high frequencies, resulting in and captivating mid-to-high tones, as well as precise sound imaging.
