The MD-15 is a highly cost-effective, versatile passive speaker system—newly designed in 2019 by Real Sound’s factory, both in terms of its aesthetic craftsmanship and advanced technology. This allows the series to seamlessly cater to a wide range of events, making it the ideal choice especially for users who may not yet be ready to invest heavily. Engineers have particularly focused on significant improvements in the high-frequency performance, while also enhancing the driver’s power-handling capacity and incorporating robust protection mechanisms for both the tweeter and woofer. These safeguards not only prevent damage during overload conditions but also ensure the speakers can continue operating smoothly even under challenging circumstances.
The MD-15 is a compact, versatile, and tightly designed speaker system featuring a 15-inch reflex bass driver paired with a 1.7-inch horn-loaded tweeter. It serves as an elegant nearfield monitor speaker but can also be used in main PA systems. The horn employed delivers crisp high-midrange sound and is fully rotatable, making it ideal for vocal reproduction. Additionally, the speaker comes equipped with a support-stand socket and rigging points for flexible installation.
