The HFT-18Bi features a high-performance, high-power, lightweight, versatile, and highly compact cabinet design, equipped with a premium-quality 18-inch (100mm voice coil) subwoofer. The cabinet boasts a sleek, space-saving design while delivering a powerful sense of presence, exceptional clarity, and impeccable balance.
The HFT-18Bi low-frequency speaker features a high-efficiency neodymium magnet driver unit and an optimally tuned, arc-shaped bass reflex port design. Internally, it incorporates a scientifically engineered approach to eliminate standing waves and resonance, while simultaneously minimizing weight without compromising essential rigidity. The bass reflex port openings have been specially optimized to reduce port noise and enhance low-frequency performance. The result is impressive low-frequency extension and output capability, significantly reducing the need for a separate subwoofer compared to other systems of similar size.
The HFT-18Bi's numerous innovative technologies virtually eliminate audible distortions such as popping sounds in the audible range, resulting in an exceptionally smooth extended response without the extraneous noises typically associated with conventional equipment. Mathematically optimized, it can meet the most ideal requirements within the array.
Like all Real enclosures, the HFT-18Bi cabinet is crafted from Baltic birch plywood, featuring a robust black epoxy finish designed to withstand even the harshest usage conditions. The speaker grille is made from premium-grade 14-gauge perforated steel and coated with a highly durable, water-resistant commercial-grade powder coating.
