The CLA-18B features a high-performance, high-power, lightweight, versatile, and highly compact cabinet design, delivering a premium-quality 18-inch (100mm voice coil) ultra-low bass speaker. The compact cabinet design ensures easy installation, making it particularly convenient for fixed mounting, while also providing an immersive sound experience with exceptional clarity and balanced tonality.
The CLA-18B low-frequency speaker features a high-efficiency neodymium magnet driver unit, paired with an optimally tuned, arc-shaped bass reflex port design. Internally, it incorporates a standing-wave elimination system and advanced resonance-damping technology, while also minimizing weight without compromising on rigidity. The vent ports have been specially optimized to reduce vent noise and compression effects. The result is impressive low-frequency extension and output capability.
The CLA-18B features numerous innovative technologies that virtually eliminate audible distortion, enabling an exceptionally smooth low-frequency extension response. Mathematically optimized, these features ensure the array meets its most ideal performance requirements.
Like all RealSound cabinets, the CLA-18B cabinet is crafted from Baltic birch plywood and features a robust black epoxy finish designed to withstand even the harshest conditions. The speaker grille is made from premium 14-gauge perforated steel and coated with a highly durable, water-resistant commercial-grade powder coating.
