Background: The 2019 Shenzhen Bao’an Maozhou River Dragon Boat Race is a key folk sports event in Bao’an District, held under the auspices of the provincial-level intangible cultural heritage “Songgang Dragon Boat Race.” With the theme “Inheriting Intangible Cultural Heritage and Showcasing Water Management Achievements,” the event attracted 16 teams and 456 participants, featuring dragon boat races, an opening ceremony performance, and a dragon boat parade.
