Project Background: Our company provided an outdoor, real‑world immersive audio system for the “Beautiful Hengshui – Millennial Lake Charm” performance, featuring line‑array loudspeaker arrays, stage monitors, ultra‑low‑frequency reinforcement, digital network mixing, intelligent audio processing, redundant wireless microphone backup, and a 3D holographic audio‑visual synchronization system. The solution covers the main stage at Fuyang Tower, the lakeside audience area, the immersive interactive zone, backstage monitoring, and the central control and scheduling hub. Addressing core requirements such as the lakefront’s high humidity and frequent winds, acoustic reflections from the open water surface, significant diurnal temperature variations, multi‑act transitions in a live‑action production, layered integration of vocals, music, and sound effects, synchronized holographic projection and audio, and sustained, stable performances, we deployed all‑weather waterproof line‑array main PA systems, remote underwater projection, low‑frequency reinforcement, digital network transmission, precise sound‑field calibration, hot‑standby wireless systems, and an outdoor anti‑feedback suppression strategy. This ensures uniform, dead‑zone‑free coverage throughout the venue; rich, clear vocals; ethereal, resonant ancient music; grand, sweeping epic scores; pinpoint‑accurate special‑effects sound; crystal‑clear, lossless long‑range audio over the lake; robust resistance to high humidity and wind noise; rapid scene changes; seamless, latency‑free audio‑visual synchronization; and zero‑failure continuous operation—perfectly supporting the staging of six major chapters, including “Yu the Great Controls the Flood,” “The Splendor of the Northern Wei Dynasty,” and “The Legacy of Brewing.” By deeply integrating holographic projections with on‑site soundscapes, this system has helped Hebei’s cultural tourism sector establish Hengshui Lake as a new landmark for ecological and cultural performing arts, earning high praise from the Hebei Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, the event organizers, and audiences alike.
